Zeitgeist und Limit

Doch, die Menschen denken durchaus nach, wenn es ihre Zeit erlaubt, die sie zur Verfügung haben.

Vor vielen Jahren war es, dass es Erhard Eppler propagiert hatte, dass es eine zwingende Notwendigkeit sei, vom ökonomischen Denken zum Ökologischen überzugehen. Wann das war? Nach 1972 so ungefähr.

Damals gab es noch Politiker, die tatsächlich vor dem Wachstumsfetischmus warnten. Die entsprechenden Kongresse nahmen schlagartig zu. Plötzlich stand die "Umwelt" im Mittelpunkt. Warum diese dann in unseren Zeiten wieder zu verschwinden schien, und vom Klimageschrei abgelöst wurde, ist ziemlich unerklärlich.

Es ist gleichgültig für was geschrien wird, die Firmen polieren ihr Image auf, und damit hat es sich.Inzwischen treibt es die Politik genauso - Leute abzocken, Image polieren, laut schreien, fertig. Die Wirtschaft war auch damals schon kriminell, in diesen 70ern, und setzte die Regierung unter Druck. Frechheit und Unverschämtheit waren auch damals die herausragenden Stärken dabei.

Mit Logik und Sachverstand, mit Vernunft und guter Politik hatte das Ganze auch damals nicht viel zu tun. Heute sind es nicht nur diese Themen, wie Klima und Umwelt, sondern auch die Finanzen, die Banken, die Arbeitswelt, welche alle nicht mehr nur vom Staat abhängen. Die sogenannte Globalisierung brachte es also mit sich, dass nichts mehr fast alleine entschieden wird. Die Uneinsichtigkeit existiert allerdings weltweit, und so hat sich grundsätzlich nicht viel geändert.

Gerade sind wir dabei, das zu verwirklichen, wovor damals gewarnt wurde - unter dem teuflischen Gelächter jener, denen nichts an den Warnungen lag. Wer warnte, war der Staatsfeind, auch daran hat sich nicht viel geändert.

Hölderlin konnte noch getrost davon ausgehen, dass da wo Gefahr ist, auch das Rettende erwächst - die Welt war noch ein wenig überschaubarer. Heute wächst das Rettende eben nicht, zum Mindesten dauert es zu lange, bis es wächst. In unserer Hast haben wir alles überholt, sind zu schnell geworden, mit der Ausbeutung, der Vernichtung von Umwelt, mit den Sauereien welche alles vergiften.

Das mit der Ausbeuterei und den Sauereien war ja der Grund, warum schon damals auch eine Weltdiktatur diskutiert wurde. Es war allerdings klar, dass es eine trostlose und hässliche Angelegenheit wäre,. denn in dieser Diktatur würde es  keinen Ausgleich für den Verlust der Freiheit geben, im Gegenteil. Es ist aber anzunehmen, dass dies heute auch populär ist in gewissen Kreisen, und wo die Testläufe stattfinden, lässt sich höchstens vage zusammentheoretisieren.

Darum ist den Regierenden das Volk so lästig, weil Basisarbeit geleistet werden müßte. Diese aber wird nicht gerne getan. Was also wurde angepeilt?

Bevölkerungswachstum Null zum Beispiel. In einer Universität in Chile arbeitete man an der Jahres-Verhütungsspritze.

Kampf gegen Wachstum und Rentabilität.

Neu-Definition der menschlichen Arbeit - sie sollte nur noch Dienstleistung an der planetarisch-solidarischen Lebensgemeinschaft sein. Alles Bisherige sei doch nur Werkelei gewesen, und habe keine Würde.

Aus dem Diktatorischen scheint etwas mehr zu werden inzwischen, aus dem anderen - mehr profanen Teil - eher nicht. Trotz diktatorischer Kahlschlagspolitik, trotz eingeleitetem Verfall scheint es nahezuliegen, dass einige der Aggressiveren es noch schaffen könnten, das letzte Aufheulen der Menschheit aus dem Massengrab aller erschallen zu lassen.

Eingeführt wurden damals dann die sogenannten "Sachzwänge", denen nicht zu entkommen sei. Grosse Gedanken und Ideen wurden nie aufgegriffen, und so kam es, dass eben das Schädlichste und Schändlichste die meisten Chancen hatte. Der vollkommene Mensch sollte es werden - und herausgekommen ist dabei die vollkommene Gangstereinheit gegen die Natur - Regierung und Wirtschaft, Geldpolitik und Kriege - sie alle liegen sich in den Armen im gemeinsamen Bett.

"Es wird zu Grausamkeiten kommen, und alle müssen arbeiten", sagte mir dann später eine Sozialarbeiterin. Sie fügte hinzu: "Die Pläne dafür liegen längst in der Schublade der Regierungen".
Schröder hatte dann damit begonnen, das Ganze umzusetzen, und heute sind wir mitten drin. Der perfekte Mensch wird auch wieder gezüchtet - statt Null Zeugung die Elitenzeugung - womöglich irgendwann mit RFID-Chip überwacht, oder ?

Sie sagen es uns nicht, was sie bis ins Detail planen,- das war damals so, und ist heute nicht anders. Das Volk ist zum Feind geworden - für die Politiker - statt zum Kooperationspartner, der doch dringend für die Vorhaben gebraucht würde. Lange Zeit tat man auch so, als wäre das mit der Umwelt doch nur ein kleines Problem. Nun ist es unter anderem Etikett wieder aufgetaucht, aber dem tatsächlichen Ernst der Lage wird die Politik immer noch nicht gerecht. Das ist ganz einfach deshalb so, weil der Wirtschaft - weil den Konzernen - nicht wehgetan werden soll.

Doch, wir können die Erde vernichten, so wie wir sie noch kannten,- wir können sie so zurichten, dass sie lebensfeindlich wird. Aber immer noch versuchen wir, das alte Muster zu leben, aller Zerstörung zum Trotz.

Diktatur entsteht dann, wenn mit alten Mitteln dem neuen Zeitgeist zu Leibe gerückt wird, und dies nicht mehr funktioniert. Sie entstehen auch dann, wenn der Staat Kriege führt und die Schulden explodieren,- und es ist seltsam, dass aus den alten Zeiten, den vergangrnen Zuständen nichts gelernt zu werden scbeint. Eine Frau aus dem Osten ist es also, die das Ganze bei uns umsetzen soll.

Der dazugekommene Rechtsdrall ist nur konsequent, denn wenn das Ganze mal so richtig zum Tragen gelangt, werden solche Kräfte immer gern benutzt. Diese sind es dann, welche den notwendigen, seelenlosen Drill und die erwünschte Rücksichtslosigkeit und Grausamkeit verkörpern, welche gegen den Teil des Volkes, dem das alles nicht gefällt, und manchmal auch gegen jene, die wieder einmal nichts gewußt haben, gebraucht wird.

Deshalb entsteht aus dem Ganzen auch die Debatte um die Demokratie, auf welche ja "kein Anspruch bis in Ewqigkeit besteht", wie Kanzlerin Merkel, die Frau aus dem Osten, uns schon klarzumachen versuchte. Die Debatte geht aber nicht darum, - wie gerne behauptet wird,- dass das Volk sie satt hat, sondern darum, dass der Eindruck vorherrscht, die Politiker wollten diese nicht mehr.

Ich denke nicht, dass dieser Eindruck zu sehr täuscht, die Regierenden haben es gerne bequem...

Das Verzichtprogramm

Die Autorin von Desparada News verortet die - wie mit Rassismus durchzogenen - Regierungsprogramme in einer Mischung aus DDR und Faschismus. Dabei hat das Ganze noch andere Ursprünge. Desparada News war nahe dran, als sie auch die Religonsethiken und -Machenschaften ihrer Betrachtung unterzog. Das ist aber noch nicht alles.

Diese unterwürfige Haltung, samt einer krassen Arbeitsmoral, in der die Menschlichkeit schon immer kurz gehalten wurde, wurde lange Zeit eingebleut - durch die Erziehung in der eben eine devote Haltung gegenüber allem Hierarchischen eingeübt wurde. Falls diese sich nicht so einfach einüben liess, wurde sie auch schon mal weniger rücksichtsvoll direkt eingebleut. Prügeln und Strafen, die an Folger grenzten, waren dabei keine Schande, sondern sollten für straffe Zucht und Ordnung sorgen. Das wurde nach und nach aufgeweicht, alos Skandal aufgedeckt, und erscheint inzwischen nicht mehr angebracht.

Die schwarze Pädagogik geht in heutiger Zeit subtiler vor. Desparada News beschrieb auch, dass es keine Ethik - keine Moralen - mehr gibt. Eine aber hält sich hartnäckig, und das ist die leustungsethik. Genau diese ist puritanischer Herkunft, denn einst waren Teile des Klosterlebens so zuzrechtgemacht worden, dass sie in den Alltag der Frommen passten - als Produktions- und Schaffensmoral.

Aus dem gesamten, puritanischen Gemisch stammt eben heute noch das Faulenzer-Geschrei, wider alle Vernunft heutiger Politik und Wirtschaftsmethoden. Beachtenswert ist auch, dass der Staat unter dem Begriff des "Sozialisierens" ein wenig etwas Anderes versteht, als der Normalbürger. Immer dann, wenn der Staat sozialisiert müßten bei den Bürgern, die weniger vernagelt allem Angesagten der Politik gehorchen, die Alarmglocken schrillen. Sozialisierung findet ja seit Hartz IV statt, ist verschärft durch die Sparvorhaben des Staates, und wie jeder Mensch unschwer feststellen kann, beinhaltet das Ganze asketische Merkmale einer sehr puritanischen Ethik, wenn man denn in dem Ganzen eine solche feststellen will.

Warum aber nun über Demokratie zusätzlich debattiert wird - ob noch ein Anspruch auf diese besteht (Frau Merkel), wie Demokratie noch zu handhaben wäre, und ob überhaupt, das wird bei weiterer Betrachtung klar. Politik goes irreal, könnte behauptet werden, denn die Mittelklasse wird ja immer wieder beschworen und betont. Wo keine solche ist, oder nicht mehr existiert, wird sie fast kpnstlich wiederbelebt - denn die Politiker sind der Meinung, nur durch die Mittelklasse lasse sich Demokratie halten, festmachen, und weiterhin erhalten. Dabei werden genau jene Leichenfledderer erzeugt, denen nichts heilig ist, und die jede Ausbeutungsmethode derer sie sich erinnern können, wieder ausgraben und auch anwenden.

Wie man die Methoden dabei auch anwendet, sie verstossen immer gegen die Interressen der Menschen. Irgendwie müssen den Bürgern abverlangte Opfer mit Begründungen unterfüttert werden, denn früher begründete alles dies die Religion, das Puritanische darin. Dies ist aber in einer verweltlichten Gesellschaft sehr fragwürdig geworden, und auch zu Recht. Allerdings wird derlei Haltung ja gebraucht, folglich muss sie anders unterlegt werden, wenn das mit der Religion nicht mehr funktioniert.

Frau Merkel hat es tapfer versucht, die alten Ethiken den Menschen nahezubringen, indem sie zu mehr Gottvertrauen aufrief, und die christlich-abendländischen Werte betonte. Als ihr irgendwann dämmerte, dass das nicht mehr so gut ankommt, liess sie die Maske fallen, und forderte zu mehr Vertrauen in die Eliten auf. Der krasse Schwenk zum eigentlichen, sowieso weltlichen, Anliegen war damit vollzogen. Schwer gefallen dürfte ihr dies nicht einmal sein, denn die Varianten des Sozialismus beinhalten auch dies. Darin fand dann auch das Getue um Klima und Planetensorge Platz, welches sowieso eher eine Spezialität der sich elitär dünkenden war.

Das gute leben ist nur durch Diktatur zu erreichen - davon sind derlei Politiker zutiefst überzeugt, egal was sie sonst erzählen mögen. Selbstverständlich müßte es eine Diktatur der Besten sein. Es ist zu beobachten, dass die derzeitige Politik sehr stark in diese Richtung geht. Dabei werden ja die Bedürfnisse der Menschen genau abgezirkelt in ein grausiges Verzichtsprogramm und Zumutungen an die Masse der Menschen. Es ist der schmale Weg, auf dem entlang der inzwischen störrisch zu werdende Esel des Kapitalismus gescheucht werden muss.

Das kollektive Gedächtnis sagt auch mir, dass es die alte Masche ist, die Herrschende schon immer gerne angewendet haben, inklusive der leeren Versprechungen und ungedeckten Blankoschecks auf eine sogenannte bessere Zukunft. Immer wieder gibt es die politischen Entwürfe, die alles vorwärts jagen, um dann doch wieder - nachdem die aberwitzigen Vorhaben gescheitert sind - die Bürger zu missbrauchen, sie zu benutzen zur Rechtfertigung dessen, was von diesen aber gar nicht verbockt worden war.

Wieder wird der "Normalo" mit Füssen der Obrigkeit getreten, und das alles nur darum, weil diese Normalo-Bürger ihr kleines Leben halbwegs erträglich leben wollen, statt für die Wahnwitz-Programme der Politiken verheizt zu werden. Die Prediger der Religionen versuchten derweil den Eindruck zu erwecken, dass Harmonie gelungen sei - zwischen Gott und Welt, zwischen oben und unten, zwischen Himmel und Erde. Jedesmal gab es ein böses Erwachen, und die Menschen wissen es teilweise, oder erinnern sich immer wieder daran.

Die Ursachen aller Katastrophe jedoch sind Bestandteil des Ganzen von jeher. Darum auch ist die Konsum- Verschleiss- und Produktionsethik so fragwürdig geworden. Statt nun ernsthaft in Frage zu stellen, nach Änderung zu suchen, wurde lediglich barbarisiert, leider auch die Verantwortung für die Erde. Sicher wird diese Verantwortung gegen jene Naturen gehen, die es gewohnt sind, zu verbrauchen und es bequem zu haben. Das wird irgendwann nicht mehr so einfach zu haben sein.

Damit dies aber die Eliten zuletz trifft, werden die puritanischen Zumutungen denen auferlegt, die nicht zu dem elitären Kreis gehören, und das sind die meisten Menschen. Den Todeskampf aus den Krisen wollen sie nicht durchleiden, das sollen die anderen für sie erledigen. Während doch schon viele Menschen allmählich erkennen, dass es um das nackte Überleben geht - egal ob mit oder ohne G20 - mogeln sich die Politiker, Wirtschaftsmächtigen und gekauften Denker noch um das Ganze herum.

Es geht inzwischen eigentlich scon darum, was sich die Menschheit noch erlauben kann, und was nicht, ohne als Ganzes unterzugehen. Mit dem üblichen Gehabe und des gängigen Vorgehens der Schuldzuweisungen und Bestrafungen ist aber nichts zu erreichen. Ein Konzern wie BP, der dabei ist, die grösste und verheerendste Katastrophe für die Menschheit verursacht zu haben, mag noch so tolle Menschen als Manager haben - das ändert nichts daran, dass sie zu den Schurken geworden sind, die das Meer und die angrenzenden Gewässer der Vernichtung preisgegeben haben. Die Dollars, die BP als Entschädigung zahlen soll, sind ein schlechter Witz angesichts der sich weiter durch die Gewässer fressenden und lebensvernichtenden Vergiftung, die angerichtet wurde.

Und wieder werden Menschen benutzt und missbraucht, opfern ihre Gesundheit, werden gehalten wie Gefangene, abgeschirmt gegen alle anderen. Sollte einer sich erheben, die ganze Wahrheit herausschreien, müßte dieser Mensch wohl um sein Leben fürchten. Die Politiker drohen vermehrt mit Kriegen, sogar das atomare Vorgehen ist wieder im Gespräch. Alle haben sie Gründe für ihre Verbrechen, aber den Menschen dieser Welt bedeuten diese nicht mehr viel - es geht um deren Leben.

Manche Menschen können nicht mehr nachvollziehen, warum sich immer noch andere Menschen - ihrer Meinung nach - gehen lassen, sei es durch Gebrauch von Drogen, sei es durch Leichtfertigkeit, wie sie meinen. Jeder versucht dabei nur der Bedeutungslosigkeit zu entkommen, wie sie in einer Matrix aufscheint, in der viele ihr Leben verfangen fühlen. Es gibt keine sogenannte Heilsgeschichte mehr, die aus dem Schlammassel heraushelfen könnte, keine Zukunftsaussicht die Unbeschwertheit verheissen würde. Wir alle sehen gerade dabei zu, wie es um das Sterben des einzigen Planeten geht, auf dem wir leben können.

Gut oder böse, das ist nicht für irgendeine ferne, oder gar jenseitige Zukunft wichtig, sondern eben hier und heute. Gerade in diesem Kampf haben nun auch die Politiker nichts Besseres auf Lager, als das, was sie seither schon taten: Beute machen um jeden Preis, die ganze Welt als Rohstoff betrachten, und auch den Menschen als Material. Es ist also kein Wunder, dass diese Welt entmenschlicht wurde, das ist die Folge davon.

Jener Verzicht, der den Menschen auferlegt wird durch Zwangs- Arbeits- und Sparprogramme karikieren nur noch sogar die schlimmsten puritanischen Exzesse der Vergangenheit. Dies ist darum der Fall, weil eben auch diese Programme nichts mehr mit den Notwendigkeiten der Menschen zu tun haben. Krass daneben und ekelhaft ist die Verachtung, welche der profanen Arbeit gegenüber gezeigt wird. Es wäre nur vernünftig, sich dem allem zu widersetzen, und sich zu verweigern.

Was wir brauchen ist Solidarität, Ehrlichkeit und der ehrliche Antrieb, dass wir es schaffen wollen. Nicht gegen die Natur, gegen die Erde, gegen die natürlichen Bedürfnisse der Menschen und gegen das Leben, sondern für dies alles und unser aller Überleben.

Sind die Autoren dieser Mitteilungen Phantasten? - Folgen des Öldesasters

Es wäre zu  wünschen, dass sie es wären. Wenn nicht, bedeutet dies die grösste Katastrophe welche die Menschheit je erlebt hat.

Es würde bedeuten, dass nicht nur das Meer auf sehr lange Zeit hin versaut wäre - und zwar das gesamte Meer, und nicht nur ein Tejl davon. Und, es würde bedeuten, dass auch ganze Landstriche überrollt werden, und nicht mehr bewohnbar sein werden.

Darüber wird nicht geredet, schliesslich will man die Leute nicht panisch machen. Aber, was ist, wenn es eintrifft?

The Obama Administration and senior BP officials are frantically working not to stop the world's worst oil disaster, but to hide the true extent of the actual ecological catastrophe. Senior researchers tell us that the BP drilling hit one of the oil migration channels and that the leakage could continue for years unless decisive steps are undertaken, something that seems far from the present strategy.

In a recent discussion, Vladimir Kutcherov, Professor at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and the Russian State University of Oil and Gas, predicted that the present oil spill flooding the Gulf Coast shores of the United States "could go on for years and years many years."

According to Kutcherov, a leading specialist in the theory of abiogenic deep origin of petroleum, "What BP drilled into was what we call a 'migration channel,' a deep fault on which hydrocarbons generated in the depth of our planet migrate to the crust and are accumulated in rocks, something like Ghawar in Saudi Arabia." Ghawar, the world's most prolific oilfield has been producing millions of barrels daily for almost 70 years with no end in sight. According to the abiotic science, Ghawar like all elephant and giant oil and gas deposits all over the world, is located on a migration channel similar to that in the oil-rich Gulf of Mexico.

As I wrote at the time of the January 2010 Haiti earthquake disaster, Haiti had been identified as having potentially huge hydrocasrbon reserves, as has neighboring Cuba. Kutcherov estimates that the entire Gulf of Mexico is one of the planet's most abundant accessible locations to extract oil and gas, at least before the Deepwater Horizon event this April.

"In my view the heads of BP reacted with panic at the scale of the oil spewing out of the well," Kutcherov adds. "What is inexplicable at this point is why they are trying one thing, failing, then trying a second, failing, then a third. Given the scale of the disaster they should try every conceivable option, even if it is ten, all at once in hope one works. Otherwise, this oil source could spew oil for years given the volumes coming to the surface already."

He stresses, "It is difficult to estimate how big this leakage is. There is no objective information available." But taking into consideration information about the last BP 'giant' discovery in the Gulf of Mexico, the Tiber field, some six miles deep, Kutcherov agrees with Ira Leifer a researcher in the Marine Science Institute at the University of California, Santa Barbara who says the oil may be gushing out at a rate of more than 100,000 barrels a day.

What the enormoity of the oil spill does is to also further discredit clearly the oil companies' myth of "peak oil" which claims that the world is at or near the "peak" of economical oil extraction. That myth, which has been propagated in recent years by circles close to former oilman and Bush Vice President, Dick Cheney, has been effectively used by the giant oil majors to justify far higher oil prices than would be politically possible otherwise, by claiming a non-existent petroleum scarcity crisis.

Obama & BP Try to Hide

According to a report from Washington investigative journalist Wayne Madsen, "the Obama White House and British Petroleum are covering up the magnitude of the volcanic-level oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico and working together to limit BP's liability for damage caused by what can be called a 'mega-disaster.'" Madsen cites sources within the US Army Corps of Engineers, FEMA, and Florida Department of Environmental Protection for his assertion.

Obama and his senior White House staff, as well as Interior Secretary Salazar, are working with BP's chief executive officer Tony Hayward on legislation that would raise the cap on liability for damage claims from those affected by the oil disaster from $75 million to $10 billion. According to informed estimates cited by Madsen, however, the disaster has a real potential cost of at least $1,000 billion ($1 trillion). That estimate would support the pessimistic assessment of Kutcherov that the spill, if not rapidly controlled, "will destroy the entire coastline of the United States."

According to the Washington report of Madsen, BP statements that one of the leaks has been contained, are "pure public relations disinformation designed to avoid panic and demands for greater action by the Obama administration., according to FEMA and Corps of Engineers sources."

The White House has been resisting releasing any "damaging information" about the oil disaster. Coast Guard and Corps of Engineers experts estimate that if the ocean oil geyser is not stopped within 90 days, there will be irreversible damage to the marine eco-systems of the Gulf of Mexico, north Atlantic Ocean, and beyond. At best, some Corps of Engineers experts say it could take two years to cement the chasm on the floor of the Gulf of Mexico.

Only after the magnitude of the disaster became evident did Obama order Homeland Security Secretary Napolitano to declare the oil disaster a "national security issue." Although the Coast Guard and FEMA are part of her department, Napolitano's actual reasoning for invoking national security, according to Madsen, was merely to block media coverage of the immensity of the disaster that is unfolding for the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean and their coastlines.

The Obama administration also conspired with BP to hide the extent of the oil leak, according to the cited federal and state sources. After the oil rig exploded and sank, the government stated that 42,000 gallons per day were gushing from the seabed chasm. Five days later, the federal government upped the leakage to 210,000 gallons a day. However, submersibles monitoring the escaping oil from the Gulf seabed are viewing television pictures of what they describe as a "volcanic-like" eruption of oil.

When the Army Corps of Engineers first attempted to obtain NASA imagery of the Gulf oil slick, which is larger than is being reported by the media, it was reportedly denied the access. By chance, National Geographic managed to obtain satellite imagery shots of the extent of the disaster and posted them on their web site. Other satellite imagery reportedly being withheld by the Obama administration, shows that what lies under the gaping chasm spewing oil at an ever-alarming rate is a cavern estimated to be the size of Mount Everest. This information has been given an almost national security-level classification to keep it from the public, according to Madsen's sources.

The Corps of Engineers and FEMA are reported to be highly critical of the lack of support for quick action after the oil disaster by the Obama White House and the US Coast Guard. Only now has the Coast Guard understood the magnitude of the disaster, dispatching nearly 70 vessels to the affected area. Under the loose regulatory measures implemented by the Bush-Cheney Administration, the US Interior Department's Minerals Management Service became a simple "rubber stamp," approving whatever the oil companies wanted in terms of safety precautions that could have averted such a disaster. Madsen describes a state of "criminal collusion" between Cheney's former firm, Halliburton, and the Interior Department's MMS, and that the potential for similar disasters exists with the other 30,000 off-shore rigs that use the same shut-off valves.

Silence from Eco groups?... Follow the money

Without doubt at this point we are in the midst of what could be the greatest ecological catastrophe in history. The oil platform explosion took place almost within the current loop where the Gulf Stream originates. This has huge ecological and climatological consequences.

A cursory look at a map of the Gulf Stream shows that the oil is not just going to cover the beaches in the Gulf, it will spread to the Atlantic coasts up through North Carolina then on to the North Sea and Iceland. And beyond the damage to the beaches, sea life and water supplies, the Gulf stream has a very distinct chemistry, composition (marine organisms), density, temperature. What happens if the oil and the dispersants and all the toxic compounds they create actually change the nature of the Gulf Stream? No one can rule out potential changes including changes in the path of the Gulf Stream, and even small changes could have huge impacts. Europe, including England, is not an icy wasteland due to the warming from the Gulf Stream.

Yet there is a deafening silence from the very environmental organizations which ought to be at the barricades demanding that BP, the US Government and others act decisively.

That deafening silence of leading green or ecology organizations such as Greenpeace, Nature Conservancy, Sierra Club and others may well be tied to a money trail that leads right back to the oil industry, notably to BP. Leading environmental organizations have gotten significant financial payoffs in recent years from BP in order that the oil company could remake itself with an "environment-friendly face," as in "beyond petroleum" the company's new branding.

The Nature Conservancy, described as "the world's most powerful environmental group," has awarded BP a seat on its International Leadership Council after the oil company gave the organization more than $10 million in recent years.

Until recently, the Conservancy and other environmental groups worked with BP in a coalition that lobbied Congress on climate-change issues. An employee of BP Exploration serves as an unpaid Conservancy trustee in Alaska. In addition, according to a recent report published by the Washington Post, Conservation International, another environmental group, has accepted $2 million in donations from BP and worked with the company on a number of projects, including one examining oil-extraction methods. From 2000 to 2006, John Browne, then BP's chief executive, sat on the CI board.

Further, The Environmental Defense Fund, another influential ecologist organization, joined with BP, Shell and other major corporations to form a Partnership for Climate Action, to promote 'market-based mechanisms' (sic) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Environmental non-profit groups that have accepted donations from or joined in projects with BP include Nature Conservancy, Conservation International, Environmental Defense Fund, Sierra Club and Audubon. That could explain why the political outcry to date for decisive action in the Gulf has been so muted.

Of course those organizations are not going to be the ones to solve this catastrophe. The central point at this point is who is prepared to put the urgently demanded federal and international scientific resources into solving this crisis. Further actions of the likes of that from the Obama White House to date or from BP can only lead to the conclusion that some very powerful people want this debacle to continue. The next weeks will be critical to that assessment.

It has been estimated by experts that the pressure which blows the oil into the Gulf waters is estimated to be between 20,000 and 70,000 PSI (pounds per square inch). Impossible to control.

What US Scientists Are Forbidden To Tell The Public About The Gulf

 What you are about to read, is what the scientists in the United States are not allowed to tell you in great fear of the Obama administration.

  They are under the threat of severe repercussions to the max.. Scientists confirming these findings cannot be named due to the above, but what they believe, they want to be known by all.

Take a U. S. map, lay it flat and measure inland just the minimum 50 miles of total destruction all around the Gulf of Mexico as to what you will read below.

The carnage to the United States is so staggering, it will take your breathe away.

Should what the scientists who are trying to warn everyone about be even close to being true... all of Florida will be completely destroyed as will everyone and everything on it.

  SUMMARY OF WHAT IS HAPPENING

The estimated super high pressure release of oil from under the earth's crust is between 80,000 to 100,000 barrels per day.

  The flow of oil and toxic gases is bringing up with it... rocks and sand which causes the flow to create a sandblasting effect on the remaining well head device currently somewhat restricting the flow, as well as the drilled hole itself.

  As the well head becomes worn it enlarges the passageway allowing an ever-increasing flow. Even if some device could be placed onto the existing wellhead, it would not be able to shut off the flow, because what remains of the existing wellhead would not be able to contain the pressure.

  The well head piping is originally about 2 inches thick. It is now likely to be less than 1 inch thick, and thinning by each passing moment. The oil has now reached the Gulf Stream and is entering the Oceanic current which is at least four times stronger than the current in the Gulf, which will carry it throughout the world within 18 months.

  The oil along with the gasses, including benzene and many other toxins, is deleting the oxygen in the water. This is killing all life in the ocean. Along with the oil along the shores, there will be many dead fish, etc. that will have to be gathered and disposed of.

  SUMMARY OF EXPECTATIONS

 At some point the drilled hole in the earth will enlarge itself beneath the wellhead to weaken the area the wellhead rests upon. The intense pressure will then push the wellhead off the hole allowing a direct unrestricted flow of oil, etc.

  The hole will continue to increase in size allowing more and more oil to rise into the Gulf. After several billion barrels of oil have been released, the pressure within the massive cavity five miles beneath the ocean floor will begin to normalize.

  This will allow the water, under the intense pressure at 1 mile deep, to be forced into the hole and the cavity where the oil was. The temperature at that depth is near 400 degrees, possibly more.

  The water will be vaporized and turned into steam, creating an enormous amount of force, lifting the Gulf floor. It is difficult to know how much water will go down to the core and therefore, its not possible to fully calculate the rise of the floor.

  The tsunami wave this will create will be anywhere from 20 to 80 feet high, possibly more. Then the floor will fall into the now vacant chamber. This is how nature will seal the hole.

  Depending on the height of the tsunami, the ocean debris, oil, and existing structures that will be washed away on shore and inland, will leave the area from 50 to 200 miles inland devoid of life. Even if the debris is cleaned up, the contaminants that will be in the ground and water supply will prohibit re-population of these areas for an unknown number of years.

Jeff - As I wrote in the PS and Comment to another article, HS physics tells us that a liquid cannot be compressed. Period.

Perhaps this statement you posted, http://www.rense.com/general91/oilor.htm, will help the wake-up call.

As he points out:

Hi, Ted:

You probably will not be surprised to learn that the situation is much worse than the mainstream media are reporting. We have a geyser of lies from BP and the WH.

Some friends have kept track of the situation. One is a retired troubleshooter for big oil and another is a very bright physicist who is working with other scientists to develop some strategies for coping with the spill.

It now appears that degradation of the sea floor and well casing may soon allow the pressure of the effluent to spit out whatever is still blocking the flow (probably pieces of the casing) and push the blowout preventer aside. If that happens there will be a dramatic increase in the flow.

BP has quietly advanced the completion date for a relief well to Christmas. It is not clear that a relief well will actually be able to stop the spill. The relief well has to intercept the bore of the wild well at a place where the casing has integrity, and no one knows whether that place might be or even if it exists.

By August enough oil may have been released to pose a serious threat to life in the Atlantic Ocean. There is no way to keep it out of deep currents that will carry it everywhere.

It was their opinion that no BOP in existence would have contained the overpressure. From day one I was arguing that the pipes were being eroded. I think the quoted pressures are off by a factor of 10, but even 7000 psi is nothing to sneeze at. Remember my worry of "fracking" and steam formation? Now people can get it from both ends of the horse. Yes I believe the website is quite credible.

I don't know about the tsunami. I don't see how anyone can predict that with precision. However I think the discharge of that hydrocarbon reservoir will result in geological changes including subsidence of fairly large areas that are currently dry land.

Considering the pssiblity that mass evacuations may be required, it is probably not a coincidence that Northcomm is gearing up for military action inside the United States.

The federal attention is all on Florida right now. Bobby Jindal and his citizens are being left to twist in the wind. Serves them right for being Republicans. <-- WH attitude.

That could be to your benefit, since we all know that when the feds take control chaos follows.

The oil contains volatiles that are toxic and carcinogenic. If you can smell heavy oil you are undoubtedly breathing much more than the EPA safe limits of these gases. Workers are trying to clean up this material wearing boots and gloves. They should be in protective clothing with respirators. BP is lying about the toxicity of the oil along with everything else.

This isn't good news, but I thought you should know.

Maybe NO is in less danger than Florida. The feds seem to think so.

MEMO, June 10, 2010 The children of Gaza have taken part in demonstrations seeking to break the siege on the tiny Strip. Bearing the flags of Arab States, the children made an appeal that they be allowed to live decent, happy, normal lives like other children across the globe. The children also demanded that the world intervene in the dire situation in Gaza whereby even the most basic necessities of life such as sufficient food for them to eat, school stationary and various other goods are prohibited. They asked that the international community come together to bring an end to the continuous Israeli violations; to put pressure on them to open the border crossings and allow Gazans to travel abroad for the purposes of medical treatment, education and otherwise. The children held up banners and placards with their appeals and demands written in English; a clear message to the Western world alongside the message to their neighbours that it high time the world intervenes and finds a solution to this ongoing problem.
